Hello, I am Toni and I would like to introduce myself as your West Midlands based Social Worker. I have been a qualified social worker for 27 years and have over 33 years’ experience in a Health and Social Care setting, working with adults with
complex needs. These include Mental Health, learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, physical disability, individuals with long term conditions and a special interest in womens health.

 

I have specialised in the field of mental health and have practiced as an approved Social Worker under the Mental health Act

’83 with my main area of expertise being mental health assessments (including cognitive assessment), as well as recognising mental disorders as specified under the mental health Act 83 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

 

My experience includes working with adults of all ages, with a variety of health and social care needs including; dementia, acquired brain injury, learning disability, neurological disorders, physical disabilities and adults with functional mental health disorders.​
